Same hooks. Same formats. Same soulless noise.
Same same same same same
Personal branding “gurus” are teaching you how to achieve success.
Not memorable.
Not meaningful.
Not YOU.
They hand you templates like paint-by-numbers kits.
“Just fill in your industry here!”
“Insert your story there!”
“Yawn” 🥱
Or, it’s a done-for-you solution that requires little to no effort from you.
So who is the thought leader?
A 20-something-year-old behind a keyboard scraping content?
When everyone uses the same playbook,
Nobody plays to win.
Everyone plays not to lose.
Authentic personal branding isn’t about what you DO.
It’s about who you ARE.
Your job title? It’ll change.
Your company? Temporary.
Your tactics? They’ll expire.
But your story?
Your beliefs?
Your weird quirks?
Those are forever.

These aren’t bugs in my system.
They’re features.
Most of you are so busy trying to sound “professional”
that you’ve forgotten how to sound HUMAN.
You’re afraid to:
Share your failures (might look weak)
State strong opinions (might offend someone)
Show your personality (might seem unprofessional)
Be genuinely different (might not fit in)
So you hide behind safe, sanitised content that gets likes but builds nothing.
Here’s Your Wake-Up Call:
Stop asking “What should I post?”
Start asking “What do I believe?”
Stop copying what works for others.
Start creating what only YOU can create.
Stop trying to appeal to everyone.
Start repelling the wrong people to attract the right ones.

For your next three posts, break your own rules:
Use design thinking, not templates.
Share something that scares you (a time you almost failed)
Tell a story only you can tell (your lived experiences)
Teach from your failures, not just wins
Let your weird flag fly
The more YOU you are, the more you become irreplaceable.
Because in a world of copies,
Originals are priceless.
Be Different, be yourself, you are the best person to be you.
